Kerala’s handloom industry is dominated by the cooperative sector, covering 96% of total looms. Products include sarees, dhotis, furnishing material, bedsheets, shirting, and lungis. Products registered under the Geo Indication Act of India: Balaramapuram Graysaree(GI product) Settu Mundu/Pudava and Kavani/Mundum Neriyathum/Pudava, Double Dhoti, Fine Cotton Frabics, Chendamangalam Dhotis, Kuthampully Sarees, Kannur Home Furnishings and Kasargod Sarees.
