Responsible for promoting/sponsoring, registering, financing, and advising MSMEs(Micro, Small, or Medium enterprises) in Kerala. Provides industrial infrastructure and logistical support to facilitate growth and financial incentives. Assistance to find national and international markets. Organizes/assists entrepreneurship development clubs in schools/colleges. Assists in the formation of industrial clusters and cooperative societies. Acquires and develops land to establish industrial development plots/areas/mini industrial state for entrepreneurs. Assistance in getting a necessary license/clearance/NOC from statutory bodies through a single-window clearance board.
